The prevailing model of the tech industry is extraction. They build hardware to sit on your face, listen to your conversations, and quietly stream your reality to cloud servers to be monetized. We refuse to participate in that paradigm.
To free the user from data harvesting by building local-only AI infrastructure.
Project Torres exists to prove that high-level machine cognition does not require surrendering your privacy. We are developing the software architecture necessary to keep absolute sovereignty over your digital footprint exactly where it belongs: on the physical hardware you carry in your pocket.
The autonomous, bio-locked, egocentric companion.
We see a future where humans are augmented by an intelligence that answers only to them. Torres is designed as an autonomous, self-learning, proactive assistant. It is "egocentric"—meaning it processes the world exactly from your point of view, adapting to your context without needing to be prompted.
Through strict biometric-locking and a privacy-first foundation, we are ensuring that the most powerful tool of the next decade is a shield, not a tracking device.
"Before I even started on this project I studied at Centennial Job Corps to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, alongside my friend Isaiah Torres. We moved to different states when we graduated but we stayed in touch. We had this shared dream: we wanted to build a self-sustaining farm to feed the hungry of the world.
Unfortunately, Isaiah was killed in a car crash before we had a chance to make that dream a reality.
I was working on a personal AI project at the time, and I just tweaked the code so anyone could use it and renamed it after him. Every step I take closer to making Project Torres a global phenomenon serves two purposes. I'm building the most privacy respecting and intelligent digital assistant in the world so I can one day afford to feed the hungry as well. Both goals seem worth pouring my life into."
